Junction Improvements Banner Lane/Broad Lane & the Culvert
There has been a delay in the completion of the highways work at the junction of Banner Lane/Broad Lane. This has been due to the amount of cabling and services found underground. We expect this junction to be completed by the end of April 2017.
As part of this junction, Council officers have informed us that they have made modifications that have improved the drainage at the junction. In addition to this, Council officers are still working with the Environment Agency to find a long-term solution. The current proposal is to hold water further upstream, however Ward Councillors are yet to be convinced that this is the best long term solution.
